THE QUICK BRIEFING.
Frequently Asked Questions
Recon Ridge is still being developed. We’ll keep these answers current as the location, launch schedule, packages, and booking system are finalized.
When will Recon Ridge open?
The field is currently in development. The planned operating season is May through October, with the opening date announced after the property, approvals, insurance, construction, and safety preparations are complete.
Where will it be located?
Recon Ridge is planned for the Muskoka region, with the Highway 11 corridor between Huntsville and Bracebridge as the target area. The exact address will be published once the operating site is secured.
Do I need experience or my own equipment?
No experience is expected for beginner packages. Rental-ready Airsoft and Gellyball options are planned, along with briefings and staff support.
What activities will be available at launch?
The current launch plan focuses on Airsoft, Gellyball, and private group missions. Future activities will be added only when the site and operating systems are ready.
Will you accept walk-ins?
The final mix of reservations and walk-in availability has not been set. Advance booking will likely be recommended, especially for rentals and private groups.
Can I book a birthday, bachelor party, corporate event, or cottage group?
Yes. Private group experiences are a core part of the plan. Package sizes, session formats, deposits, and pricing will be published before booking opens.
What should I wear?
Wear sturdy closed-toe footwear and comfortable long clothing suited to outdoor Muskoka conditions. Bring layers, water, and clothing you do not mind getting dirty.
Will a waiver be required?
Yes. Every participant will require an accepted waiver, and minors will require the appropriate parent or guardian authorization.
What happens during bad weather?
Operations may continue in suitable conditions, but lightning, severe weather, unsafe terrain, fire restrictions, or other hazards may delay, modify, or cancel play under the final weather policy.
Will food and drinks be available?
Beverages and packaged snacks are planned for the first season. The offering may expand as operations grow.
